Episode 3: Nina Caliente
The baddie! Nina is absolutely my favorite sim to play and I usually don't care to play the 'rounds' to keep everyone's ages in sync, but I always end up playing her the most and the longest of them all...and then I realize I have like, eight other families to play. Hah!
After moving out of the condo and leaving it with Dina and Mortimer, Nina settles in on the second floor of the Pleasant Vista Apartments around the corner.
Mortimer gave her a little 'going away' present of $20,000 simoleons and Dina used that money sparingly while decorating her new home.
Thinking it was high-time for a makeover (can you tell it's my favorite thing to do?!), she heads into Bluewater Village for a fresh new 'do and sweet layers that frame her face, perfectly. She even decided to get a couple new tatts to validate her new independence. I mean we're all thinking Dina is a bad bitch and would have these tatts, right?!
Since pink is her favorite color (assumed by me) she traded in her cargo pants for a more flattering, feminine style and topped it off with ankle boots.
Her new look caused a lot of attention and she was meeting new people, left and right. Hell, even as she was leaving she was being followed by that creep Phil!
When she arrived back at her apartment, she set eyes on a hottie with a body in the hot tub and knew she had to smooth talk her way into his heart, er, pants.
Knowing it would take a little too much effort, she hit up the one and only Casanova himself, Don Lothario for a quick little something something.
After a few woohoo rounds, Nina says goodbye and checks the computer to see her job application for the Dance career was accepted.
We leave the hottie herself rockin' away celebrating her new life.
Episode 2: Mortimer & Dina Caliente
I for one, love playing Dina and Mortimer. There's something about her gold-digging ways that strike a chord with me and I know she doesn't mind spending all of Daddy Morty's. Lmao.
When we first arrive at the Caliente sisters' condo, Mortimer conveniently stops by and I immediately pop the questions for engagement and marriage. I like to think Alexander and Cassandra aren't too gung-ho about their father's romantic endeavor with Dina (they're onto her scheming ways) and with the option to move in with Dina, I have Alexander stay with Cassandra at the Goth manor.
This prompts you to move out Nina (my fave of the sisters) and I almost always move her into the Pleasant Vista Apartments down the street.
Moritmer waves goodbye to Dina and off she goes to start her own life. More on her soon!
The first thing Dina wanted to do after tying the knot, was to renovate the condo and get a makeover, herself! Typical. With Mortimer's simoleons, Dina starts off by redoing the entire first floor!
Side note: when it comes to the sisters, I like to think Dina is the more glam, materialistic sister and Nina is the more effortless, easy-going one. Kind of like Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. Oops?
She goes for a muted, black, white and grey theme and renovates the bathroom to add counter space and pops of red. I always assume which is her fave color.
Mortimer begs Dina to keep Nina's room as is, in case Alexander decides to move in. Dina rolls her eyes and agrees.
To add some type of formality after tying the knot, Mortimer cooks up a delicious serving of salmon (a recipe Bella taught him) and the two newlyweds enjoy dinner. Not realizing how much of a slob Dina is, Mortimer loses his appetite while Dina spills food all over the newly furnished kitchen.
She throws up the peace sign to Mortimer and heads out to Bluewater Village for a fresh makeover and a little makeup shopping spree!
The salon throws some much needed toner over her god-awful yellow hair and she gets some super fanned out eyelash extensions.
While relaxing in bed deciding what car to purchase, Mortimer makes the move on Dina and she is not having it.
We leave the newlyweds deciding whether to finally Woohoo or if Dina finds an excuse to not consummate the marriage.
Episode 1: The Goths & The Wedding
We start off with playing the iconic Pleasantview neighborhood in The Sims 2.
I like playing this household first because in the event that Don leaves Cassandra at the alter (and he did!), I don't think it would be comforting for her to be stuck in the manor alone.
I (admittedly) always hope for Don to leave Cassandra at the alter. Why? He's more fun single and I genuinely dislike my Romance Sims to get tied down and cheat. Yes, yes, I know it makes for more drama, but he always seems to get himself in some shady shit being a playa-playa.
The story prompts you to set the relationship on strong footing prior to clicking the arches to get hitched, but I always skip that part and just have them do the do. 50% chance he dips and leaves poor Cassandra there solo dolo. Teehee....
Don gets cold feet and dips and poor Cassandra is embarrassed and goes into aspiration failure! Side note: Can you freaking imagine what that feels like?!
The therapist sets her straight and she goes inside the mansion to call Darren Dreamer - the dreamy widow also residing in Pleasantview a couple blocks away. They already have a strong relationship, so I wonder if he'll be Cassandra's rebound.
She hangs up the phone and heads into the bathroom for that post-break up GLOW UP.
Ditching the pigtails (which I personally absolutely despise, shoutout to those of you who keep her OG 'do.) Cassandra lets her hair down and parts it to one side. She puts in her contacts which she planned on surprising Don with and watches a little NikkieTutorials YouTube video and figures out how to do her makeup in a super natural, flattering way.
While eating dinner, she can't help but feel like something is still missing. She raids her closet for something a little sexier and trades in her gothic drapes for a form fitting sweater dress, cardigan and OTK boots.
We close out the Goth manor with Cassandra studying for a Cleaning skill so she can get promoted in her Science career. However, she still can't get Don off her mind.
Can ya blame her?
